Hospital Outreach

Weekly meetings at the
Central Regional
Hospital- Cape Coast
which houses up to 120 patients - in the Outpatient departments.
Central Regional
Hospital has twelve wards. The LTFM teams have a intensive outreach on
several days to this particular hospital.
Monday - Friday. 7am-8am is the hospital
patient visitation fellowship time with the outpatients.
Wednesday &
Friday ( 4:30-6pm) :-visitation happens throughout many of the wards.
Sunday ( 2pm - 5pm ): Our time begins in a large group fellowship
setting for worship and encouragement. Afterwards our LTFM team
members make a special effort to visit the rooms of patients who were
unable to join the large group so that they can to ministered to directly .
Thursday (7am-8:30am ): special outreach is done solely for the Aids
ward to
encourage employees before they head off to face their day.
Each week Francis is able
to minister directly to the people at the hospital. The hospital has
blessed him with an office space to do ministry: The
Medical Social Welfare / LTFM office is used by Francis
and is used as a central clearing office for all kids of social outreach
in the hospital. There are two governmental staff
workers who can take request from patients families. Patients can receive
medicines or special gifts.( i.e.: a recent donation included 500 blankets and
bed sheets for the hospital.) Many people come for consultations
and can also solicit financial aid to pay their hospital expense or can
solicit that hospital visits be done for their family members who are
patients there. Photos of recent outreach includes:
